Plain-language summary of what this site collects and why.

Visiting the website

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count visits. It records which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from (the referring site or link), device type, country, and clicks on our main buttons such as Book and Airbnb. It does not use cookies. We use this to see what is working and to improve the site. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we do not count your visit.

While you browse, your browser may keep a short note of how you arrived (for example from a search or an AI assistant) in session storage, which disappears when you close the tab. It is only used if you make a booking, so we know which source it came from. Your browser may also remember the currency you chose to view prices in (stored on your device only).

Booking directly

When you book we collect your name, email address, travel dates, number of guests and any message you write. Your payment is handled by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. We use your details only to manage your stay and to contact you about it, and we keep booking records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal reasons.

Booking through Airbnb

If you click through to Airbnb, you leave this site. Airbnb has its own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@whynamvilla.com.
